Please join the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association at the University Club in Milwaukee on May 8, 2018, for a presentation and discussion with Attorney Lawrence Pope regarding patent venue and the Supreme Court’s decision in TC Heartland v. Kraft Food Group Brands.
Mr. Pope is a sole practitioner from Milwaukee, who has been practicing patent law since 1973. He has been in-house counsel for Bayer USA and Abbott Laboratories, as well as practicing with the Venable firm in D.C. and the Mayer Brown firm in Chicago. He actively follows developments in patent law having served on task forces and in leadership roles on committees of the IPL Section of the ABA. He has testified and submitted comments in response to USPTO rules proposals including providing written comments to the First Inventor to File Rules and Examination Guidelines proposals.
