Welcome to WIPLA - your Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association!

Whether in-state, out-of-state, in private practice, or in-house, WIPLA is a valuable resource for the IP Community for the State of Wisconsin, focusing on all IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, prosecution, litigation, licensing, and other related fields.   It is run by IP professionals volunteering their time and energy to strengthen our community, and it provides at least two great opportunities: networking & leadership.

Regarding networking ... WIPLA offers a tremendous opportunity to meet other IP professionals, whether at our monthly CLE meetings in Milwaukee or Madison, or at our Annual Golf & Dinner Meeting - and at all the numerous times in-between.   Indeed, WIPLA presents a great opportunity to be exposed to new topics, meet new speakers, and make new friends.

Regarding leadership ... Many of the past presidents of WIPLA represent the IP leaders of our community.   WIPLA stands tall because of their efforts, and we thank them.   It is always a rewarding challenge to deliver quality events for our members, and WIPLA’s Officers and Directors play a tireless role in serving our community.   If interested, please consider becoming one of our next leaders!
